Whether you are a supervisor, team leader or department manager, being successful as a manager requires a unique set of leadership and supervisory skills. Southpac’s Diploma of Leadership & Management provides the people management, personal development and workplace technical skills that are vital for advancement in the aviation industry.
If you have completed the Diploma of Quality Auditing with our Safety and Lead Auditors Course and Systems for Continual Improvement Course, you can use the 8 units of competency towards your next Diploma following our Stepping Stone Approach. The Diploma of Leadership & Management can be achieved by then completing our 5-day Advanced Management and Leadership Course – gaining two nationally recognised qualifications in just three courses.
There are several other pathways to achieving the Diploma. These are ideal for professionals who have completed, or wish to complete, our Aviation SMS Course, Emergency Response Plan or Safety Investigators Course. There are also even more flexible options incorporating a number of self-paced, online courses. View all the possible Diploma pathways here.
Achieving this Diploma under the current requirements will only be possible for a limited time, as Diploma requirements are changing in early 2022. The Diploma of Quality Auditing will soon require 12 units of competency rather than the current 8 units, and the units of competency for the Diploma of Leadership & Management will also be changing.
