Course Overview 

This Develop Critical Thinking in Others course provides the skills and knowledge required to develop critical and creative thinking skills in others within a workplace context.

About the course

This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to develop critical and creative thinking skills in others within a workplace context.

The unit applies to individuals who are developing and coaching others, for whom critical thinking skills (including analysis, synthesis, and evaluation) are an important part of their job roles. This unit applies to individuals who are typically responsible for leading teams.

This unit is a Core unit of the Diploma of Leadership & Management, and can be used towards the Diploma of Quality Auditing and Diploma of Aviation (Aviation Management). 

Upon successful completion of this course, including all assessments, participants will receive a statement of attainment for:

BSBCRT511 Develop critical thinking in others

 

Participants will develop the necessary skills to:

  • Assess individual and team critical and creative thinking skills
  • Establish an environment that encourages the application of critical and creative thinking, and
  • Monitor and improve thinking practices

Individuals who are typically responsible for leading teams, or who are developing and coaching others.

This course requires the learner to have a suitable level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) proficiency and a basic level of digital literacy to comprehend the course content, participate in group activities, and complete assessment activities through an online portal.

Southpac Aerospace can provide appropriate support to learners who need additional help to complete the course if they do not meet the required proficiency in LLN and digital literacy.
