New Aircraft Accident Investigation Course Scheduled

Helicopter pilots in the Northern Territory are among those who benefit from attending Southpac's new aircraft accident investigation course.

Southpac is pleased to announce that our updated Aircraft Accident Investigation Course has now been scheduled, the following dates have now been confirmed;

Brisbane 11th-13th December 2017

This newly updated course is a condensed version of the 5-day fundamentals course and will focus on the key aspects of attending an aircraft accident investigation site. The course will guide participants through the entire investigation process, from preparing to attend an accident site, managing the hazards and collecting the right evidence. Not only will we look at fixed-wing aircraft, but helicopter accidents as well. We will also show you how to “read” the accident site and how to use the right tools and equipment. We will also be looking at human factors and how to identify a range of material failures. Also covered is how to develop clear reports that are compliant with ICAO requirements.
