This Manage Personal & Professional Development course provides the skills and knowledge required to implement systems and process that support the personal and professional development of self and others.

About the course

This unit, a part of our Leadership and Management Course range, provides the skills and knowledge required to implement systems and process that support the personal and professional development of self and others.

The unit applies to individuals working in a range of managerial positions who are accountable for the development and performance of others.

This Management and Leadership course unit contributes to the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership & Management and the AVI50119 Diploma of Aviation (Aviation Management) and can be used towards the BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing. 

Upon successful completion of this course, including all assessments, participants will receive a statement of attainment for:

BSBPEF501 Manage personal and professional development

Participants will develop the necessary skills to:

  • Manage work goal development
  • Facilitate achievement of work priorities
  • Assess and prioritise personal, team and organisational demands
  • Develop and maintain professional competence
  • Participate in personal and professional development activities that address identified needs, priorities and plans
