Southpac’s sister company, Southpac International, will be delivering 1-Day and 3-Day HOP courses face-to-face in Perth in March and Brisbane in April.
Human and Organisational Performance – or HOP – is a contemporary perspective on how we can improve work. It focuses on understanding the context and conditions of work, recognising the complex interactions between people and systems. HOP helps us understand how humans perform and gives us a framework for building more resilient organisations.
HOP and Safety 2 approaches are becoming increasingly sought-after within the aviation industry as safety professionals seek to implement new methods focused on operational learning to improve safety.
Key topics such as blame, error, normal variability, complex coupling of conditions, performance modes, biases and system thinking are covered in depth throughout the Southpac course, providing a foundational working knowledge of HOP that participants will be able to put into practice within their own organisation.
