Southpac has a dynamic and dedicated team of trainers and auditors, as well as our expanding group of administrative and support staff.
CEO – Andy Shone
Over the past five years Andy has taken the Management reins of Southpac and is steering the company to further growth and overseas expansion. After four years as General Manager Andy is now fulfilling the role of CEO. Andy is also a Certified Lead Auditor and conducts Quality, Safety & OHS Audits for Southpac Certification clients.
Andy’s background is in Business Finance and Management Consultancy. Andy moved from the United Kingdom where he worked for Barclay’s Bank and RBS Group in varying management and business development positions. Through his various positions Andy gained experience working with many businesses within aviation and beyond.
Office Manager – Annemette Kilpatrick
The friendly voice at the end of the phone line or the person who answers most course enquiries will probably be Annemette Kilpatrick. Annemette has worked for Southpac since 2007 and manages the marketing, coordination, after course administration and exam marking of all Southpac courses. Annemette has coordinated hundreds of courses and has developed close working relationships with most participants. With an extensive administrative background and a natural talent for coordination and planning, Annemette knows every detail of each course run by Southpac. On top of her busy schedule planning courses, Annemette also manages the office and the schedules of all trainers, auditors and consultants.
Training Manager – Rebecca Gil
Bec has previous on-board management experience in the aviation industry and spent 6 years working for an award winning International Airline based in Dubai. Bec furthered her studies at Griffith University completing her Masters in Aviation Management in 2010 writing her thesis on the ‘Causes, Identification and Reduction of Cabin Crew Sickness’. Previous to this she was a senior travel consultant and also an English teacher in Japan. Bec is now the Training Manager and involved with facilitating courses run by Southpac.
Certifications – Emma Beach
Emma has been with the team since early 2013 and brings an extensive background in administration and support obtained through years of experience working in the construction, oil and gas industry. Emma is currently responsible for providing administrative support to the Management Team and assisting with Southpac’s certification activities.
Sales & Admin Assistant – Luis Gil
Luis joined the Southpac team in April 2014 and brings an extensive background in administration and support obtained through years of experience working in a variety of industries including the Defence, Aviation and the Resources Industry. Luis is currently responsible for providing administrative support to the Management Team and assisting with Southpac’s busy training activity.
